Tameka Bell provides strategic guidance, specialized coaching and social justice-centered communications support to nonprofits and organizations. Based in Washington, D.C., Tameka helps organizations and individuals to harness the power of story and fuel social change by shifting dominant narratives.
Tameka has led trainings with more than 1,000 grassroots leaders - from first-generation immigrants and those returning from incarceration to clergy leaders and nonprofit executives.
Following the shooting death of Michael Brown, she designed and led a communications and media seminar at Harris-Stowe State University for youth activists in Ferguson, Missouri. In 2017, she expanded her portfolio to include active bystander intervention trainings in an effort to empower communities to combat situations of identity-based violence.
Tameka is also the producer of the Prophetic Resistance Podcast.
